I love writing. From the first moment I could scribble out my thoughts, I fell in love with the craft. Everything about it. The feel of the pen between my fingers. The smell of the paper. The click of the keys on the keyboard as I type away. Later, I added broadcasting to the mix and embarked on a life-long love affair with all things audio, too.
Now I write all sorts of things — from critiques of how the mainstream media covers the biggest issues of the day to funny travel tales about my adventures overseas to budget-saving tips for the savvy shopper.
I’m also big into doing in-depth investigations of political, economic and social issues all around the world with a current focus on issues and stories in Latin America.
I just put out a new book of travel tales about my time in South Korea and China, some short stories, and a detailed demographic report about a northern Nicaragua town.
